John McNeil
President

As a valued member of The Pacific Institute since 1980, John has become a great resource to show what TPI can do for you personally, professionally, and organizationally. This led him to found TPIC and gather like minds in his quest to coach individuals, organizations, and companies to reach their innate ability and achieve their goals.

Graduating with President’s Honors from Seattle University, John began his career with The Pacific Institute (TPI) in 1980. He has committed his entire professional life to social justice causes. As a business executive, a speaker, community strategist, executive coach, facilitator, husband, father, and grandfather, John utilizes the research from the fields of positive psychology, cognitive psychology, and social learning theory as a roadmap for achieving accelerated individual and organizational accomplishments.

In 2007, four years after having architected the “A Better LA” Initiative, (a community collaboration for increasing peace and reducing gang violence in Los Angeles County inspired by Coach Pete Carroll), John founded The Pacific Institute Community (TPIC). TPIC provides supports to TPI graduates to achieve their own noble aspirations.

Since the pandemic, John, and his colleagues, created “Achieving Balanced Well-Being™” (an online, self-paced delivery, augmented by virtual discussion groups) to get the tools for developing personal and employee wellness to people coping with “dis-ease”. Additionally, John has targeted TPI’s education to obtain extraordinary results in Northern Ireland, Guatemala, educational institutions, workforce development agencies, correctional facilities, and law enforcement agencies.
